Description
Join Tom for this introduction session to Qigong (Chi-Kung), an ancient Chinese movement practice that promotes self-healing and body-mind balance by activating and channelling the flow of Chi (vital energy) through the body.
Qi Gong offers many physical benefits, including improved flexibility and mobility, while aiding concentration and co-ordination and bringing a sense of calm and focus to the body, mind and spirit.
The session will include basic Qigong breathing techniques, gentle warm-up exercises and an accessible 8-movement set known as Ba Duan Jin (The Eight Treasures), ending with a short meditation.
Following the taster session held on April 14th, there will be a course of five classes running on April 21st, April 28th, May 12th, May 19th & May 26th.
