Description

Do you need more balance in your life? A way to reduce stress, move your body more gently, and calm a busy mind? This 5-week introductory course offers a welcoming space to explore the ancient practice of Qi Gong in a relaxed and supportive environment.


Qi Gong promotes the flow of Chi (vital energy) through the body and translates as energy work. The practice combines stretching and joint mobilisation, breathing techniques, slow flowing movements, static postures, mindfulness, relaxation and meditation.


These enjoyable sessions are designed to help improve flexibility, support overall wellbeing and bring a sense of calm and balance to both body and mind.


Led by qualified Tai Chi and Qi Gong instructor Tom Stacey, the classes will guide you through a simple yet powerful series of movements and postures, beginning with the well-known Ba Duan Jin (The Eight Treasures) sequence.
